Evergreens of Cobb's Hill Park
Evergreens gay, crowning Cobb's Hill
Festive in starry-snow
Dreamy of far Bethlehem's Hill
And Yule's eternal glow.
Rochester's own, historic Hill
Peerless in silver rime.
Flashing the angels message still
Of joys at Christmas Time.
Glories of pine, myrtle and fir
Offering incense sweet.
Sacred of frankincense and myrrh
Laid at the Christ Child's feet.
Evergreens rare, from lands afar
Enchanting crown Cobb's Hill.
Whispering of Bethlehem's star,
Of peace and glad Goodwill.
