Oh nonh neh oh gee stos, dey yoh dee gah lut eh
San sonh dof, gomh yonh ah, neh sah.

Sah sonh dof, gomh yonh ah, neh sah.

Translation

It's time, now for sleep, my child, my little one,
The darkness enfolds us again.
Now the stars in the skies, are aflashing bright eyes
Go to sleep--my child--little one.

It's time, now for sleep, my child, little one,
'Neath God's loving hand, you are safe
Now all the wee birdling, have gone and are sleeping
Go to sleep--my child--little one.
